Ended up here on a complete whim. We were looking for a spot with outdoor seating and this place looked inviting. Could not have been more pleased. Pizza was outstanding with a perfect thin crust. We paired it with a wonderful pear and beet salad. Our waiter, Sam was attentive, helpful and appropriately friendly. We left that night thinking that we had just scored on a new and worthy discovery. We'll be back!

we recently ordered carry out for a small get together at our house. We ordered off of the catering menu and were very specific with our choices. The woman on the phone was exceptionally friendly, patient and helpful. Everything in order came out perfectly incorrect. The food was delicious, everyone was happy and we even have amazing leftovers for the next night or two. Washington Gardens is consistently good and there is always a pleasure to deal with. We love it.

Great family style Italian restaurant in Highwood. I had delicious Ministrone soup and chicken parm. I will definitely be returning here soon.

The thin crust pizza was fantastic! I had the eggplant parmesan which I thought was fair. It lacked taste and was a bit soggy. The prices are good for the amount of food. The place was very friendly and had a local feel. Many of the customers had been coming there for many years and you could feel that when you arrived at the restaurant. Would definitely return and try some other main dish besides the eggplant.

It's such great classic Italian food. Be sure to order the meatballs and ask for extra bread to dip in the marinara. They were both made with love, and you can absolutely taste it. We made sure to get a pepperoni and sausage to go. That was the best cold breakfast I've had in ages. Your pizza held up to the test. Thanks for being amazing!

Possibly my favorite Italian restaurant of all time (and Ive been to countless one, including in Italy). Literally everything my family and I have ever had here we have thought is some of, if not the best, from the alfredo pizza, alfredo tortellini, meatballs, gnocchi, and more. Been here a million times and will never stop. Portions and quality are all great. Also, super fast.

Amazing Italian food in a hole in the wall in highwood! I am so glad I found this place. I took my family and they all had a wonderful time. The previous table did take a while so it wasn’t right on time but the manager apologized and gave us free drinks to make up for the wait. Amazing manager by the way, he definitely knows how to run a restaurant. The ambiance was the typical Italian joint, but it was exactly what we needed and used the space effectively. The food was delightful and the portions were generous (perfect for having leftovers). Prices were on par with anywhere else. I will definitely be going back!
